What is an IV? Why is IV therapy more beneficial than oral agents?
An Intravenous infusion is the introducing fluid directly through a vein.
IV therapy allows 100% bioavailability. The fluids enter our circulation immediately and are 100% available to our cells. Orally administered supplements and medications must pass through the intestinal wall and the liver. Therefore, many substrates may be metabolized before adequate concentrations can enter circulation. Low bioavailability is common with oral forms of medications due to poorly water-soluble and slow absorption.
Age, gender, physical activity, genetics, competing drugs or foods, stress, GI disorders, or previous GI surgery can also affect bioavailability. Bioavailability of oral agents is highly variable due to several factors.
Non-members may book an IV session.

Powerful Antioxidant
Glutathione is an antioxidant produced in the body through enzymatic reactions, using the amino acids cysteine, L-glutamic acid and glycine.
Glutathione injections are typicially given twice per week for 4-8 weeks and then evaluate how a person responds and at that point, can continue maintenance 1-2 times per month.

Buccal Swab - (includes anxiety, depression, adhd, mood disorder, insomnia)
This is a pharmacogenomic test that analyzes how your genes may affect the medications you are taking. The test analyzes clinically important genetic variations in your DNA. Results can help us form a plan about how you may break down or respond to certain medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
MTHFR is an enzyme required to convert folic acid into an active form called L-methylfolate that is usable by our bodies. L-methylfolate plays an important role in making neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which help regulate mood. Some people carry a mutation in the MTHFR gene, which limits their ability to create L-methylfolate and not only can it affect mental health, but can play a role in our cardiovascular risk, increased homocysteine levels which may play a role in dementia risk, developing cleft palate in the womb due to inability to convert folate, women in childbearing age in regards to anemia, and chronic fatigue.
MedCheck gives insights into a patient's responsiveness to different medications and the likelihood of side effects and treatment failure. It provides insight into how a patient metabolizes, transports, and binds specific drugs, allowing physicians to prescribe medications that are most likely to prove effective with minimal side effects.
- ex; Serotonin, Dopamine, Norepinephrine
This is a urine test assessing neurotransmitter imbalances that are often associated with anxiety and depression, panic attacks, chronic fatigue, impulsivity, insomnia, PMS, and/or PMDD.
For patients with family history of certain cancers, hereditary cancer testing is the primary way to determine if they are at an increased risk of developing specific types of cancer.
MyRisk with RiskScore evaluates 48 genes associated with hereditary cancer risk to identify genetic changes associated with an increased cancer risk. When combined with family history and other clinical factors, MyRisk with RiskScore provides each patient with a cancer risk assessment individualized to them.
Aggressive cancers can develop quickly and without symptoms. Cancers growing in the body shed DNA into the bloodstream, the DNA fragments can act like a maker of cancer. The Galleri blood test might be able to detect and screen for the fragments before patients become symptomatic. This checks for 50+ types of active cancer.
Here at MCM, we have created customized lab panels to meet our patients' needs. We can also modify anything! The lab panels listed are self-pay (no insurance involvement) and are pre-paid services, drawn at a local DLO.
