About MCM

We strive for excellence here at MCM. Learn more about us by reading some frequently asked questions. If you don't see your question here, feel free to contact us via phone or email.

  • How many board certified providers work here?

MCM has two providers that include a board-certified Physician Associate and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

  • Does my entire family have to be members?

No, we offer individual memberships and couple memberships.

  • Why is concierge medicine appealing?

Both primary care providers and their patients find the direct primary care model appealing. Providers get frustrated with government restraints and insurance. There are significant administrative burdens, so people are burnt out and unhappy and more providers leave the industry daily. Concierge medicine sounds attractive because we can get back to doing what we love to do.

  • How to decide if concierge medicine is right for you?

Not all concierge medical practices are created equal.  If you’re considering a form of concierge medicine, you need to identify the services most important to you and ask yourself some of the following questions? Sleep on it.

Can I afford a monthly fee on top of the insurance premium I’m already paying?

Yes! When the opportunity arises, you can change your current health insurance plan to a major deductible plan or something similar, which will lower your monthly premium. It is important to keep a major medical plan for surgeries, emergencies, specialists, etc.

How important is it to have 24/7 access to a physician?

There is always the Emergency Room... but that is not always necessary especially for minor needs. With concierge medicine,  there is 24/7 access via secure text, email, and phone lines.

Do I have chronic conditions that require specialists?

No big deal! MCM can refer you to any specialist you may require for your health condition or check-up.

  • What happens if I leave MCM to find a new PCP and then want to re-join?

In order to provide high quality patient care, each provider accepts up to 300 patients on their panel. Once their panel is full, there will be a waiting list created and an approval process. There is a rejoining fee of $199 if you leave the practice and later want to come back.
