Amelia Moncho

Amelia Moncho is board certified Physician Associate who has over 20 years of clinical experience in family medicine with special interest in internal medicine, mental health, and woman’s health. With her years of practice, she understands complex medical issues and how to properly treat and navigate these issues.

For over 15 years she continues to have a clinical faculty appointment at The University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. She is a dedicated clinical educator teaching student throughout her career.

EDUCATION

Amelia completed her medical education in 2001 at

Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

SCOPE OF PRACTICE

In addition to internal medicine practice issues such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disease, Amelia also focuses in cardiovascular disease prevention, osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment, menopause management, depression, routine gynecologic exams, general physicals, weight and obesity management and cancer risk assessment.

Amelia chose concierge medicine practice because she loves solving her patients’ medical problems. Her goal is to establish long-term relationships, help keep patients healthy, and see them through illness when it occurs. She believes in the benefits of concierge patient care practice, and this gives her the opportunity to provide the best possible personalized care for her patients.

Hobbies

When not in the office, Amelia enjoys traveling, trying new foods, exercising, and being a soccer mom to three kids.
